The Rainbow international pre-school (Peuterspeelzaal) is sited in the lovely building on the Speelschans playground, just ten minutes walk from Leiden town centre. 

We provide a high quality, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 2 years plus. Our pre-school is for children of all nationalities. Everyone is welcome whether you are from the Netherlands or any other part of the world. 

On a typical day at Rainbow's pre-school the children arrive at 9.30 am and are given time to settle in with their parents/carers. After which their parents/carers leave and we will have free play and a directed activity (Such as painting, glueing and other art activities). The children also help to make their own organic bread which along with a drink and some fruit will be eaten later at snack time. During the rest of the morning, the children enjoy outside play in the wonderful playground, music (singing, dancing, instruments) and then we finish our fun morning with a lovely story, ready for home time at 12.00 noon.

We have many years of experience working with and educating children. Mandy and Ali both hold a British Diploma as well as other relevant qualifications such as first aid certificates. Leonie also works at the pre-school and is a native Dutch speaker. Collectively we  give your child the opportunity to learn and /or improve both languages.
